This Station has a total of 18 hectares of experimental
land, of which 6.5 hectares are on the main Station located
at Kung-Kuan Township, and 2.7 hectares are on the Natural
Enemy Propagation Branch at Tahu Township, both are in
Miaoli County. The remaining 8.7 hectares of land are
evenly distributed in 5 branch stations, located in Nantou,
Chiayi, Pingtung, Hualein, and Taitung Counties.
Infrastructures include Administration Building, Agricultural
Environment Building Agriculture Museum, Taiwan Sericulture
Museum, 30 research laboratories, and insectaries. In
addition to these, there are dormitories to accommodate
both singles and families at the main station and each
branch station.
Some major research equipment include HPLC, Nucleus
Spectrometer, GC, Gas Analysis Spectrometer, Leaf Area-meter,
Super Threshold Liquid Extractor, Freeze Dryer, Concentrator,
Tissue Cutter, Centrifuges, High Pressure Autoclave,
Electrophoresis Apparatus, etc.
